[Music] my name is Franchesca um I'd like to share with you a yinyang yoga posture Yin Yoga posture today um a posture that is good to energize the organs of the center of the body so kidneys and um abdomen and I'm going to hold a pose for a a few moments just to show you um bearing in mind that the yin yoga um fashion the yin yoga uh practice um can be held for several minutes so we will do a subtle pose I will demonstrate it first it may be challenging for to get into it if you're not used to practicing this way so you want to lean and you want to sit onto your heels um you want to lean back with your hands behind IND you and um you can have your knees as wide apart as they comfortable and then slowly you can come into line down so in your own time just um get to your degree of um stretch in my case I will go all the way down and you can rest there and you can again let your knees gently drop so these pose can be held for several minutes the benefits of Yin Yoga are achieved when you relax your muscles so to come out of the pose and then I'm going to tell you more about it you want to engage now the abdominal muscles and you want to come into your elbow so gently come up coming to sitting again so few minutes into a pause allow the connected tissue to hold the joints together allow the connected tissue to stretch connective connective tissue is a very strong uh material it's a very strong tissue in in our body and um it responds very well to Long held poses where where the muscles are relaxed [Music]
