Transcript

I am Tanja and today we are going to
be looking at Adept Pose - Siddhasana (Perfect Pose, Accomplished Pose) page number this I think it's 1 1 9 maybe
I'll make sure it in the comments below that there are page numbers so your debt
poses is a nice seated pose which we can use for meditation or maybe the start of
the class or even the end of the class so there's quite a few variations of the
near death pose so what associates have a play listen
and see what feels best for you because this is not a suitable position for a
lot of people so past leg but ideally you want to try and have both the knees
on the floor and the feeds are tucked in over there
so I cannot overthink things too much in terms of push in this position it's just
a bit this is quite hard for a lot of people anyway it's good to try and get
the perfect of death pose might be strong for some people so any seeds in
position where they can maintain lengthen this spine they can sit over
here for a little bit of meditation so yeah just to be comfortable safe what I
often like using so if you've got summer in the class has got really tight hip
flexors maybe they got a tight back so that's this position quite uncomfortable
think you might get people that's their knees are over here you can sit down on
a black which gives the bar a little bit of height so the knees can drop a bit
lower some people do find that a little bit
more comfortable but so they can be there using a pasta so there can be over
there who protects to find a little bit more easier for the hips are higher than
the knees so I actually like setting on the pasta all the time take it to
Tesco's yes I'll call it like having the bolster so people can sit in that
position over there so support like easy pose so it's not really much to this
exercise stretched off the inside of the hips you can help strengthen the back of
you keeping a really nice or posture like I said you'd use it beginning of
the class maybe or if you were going to do some meditation what sex you use it
at the end but what might generally saves my clients just find any seated
position that is comfortable so it's going to depend on the age range of the
people that you work with it's so our clients tend to be I'm about 50
generally 50 and above so you know : people have knee issues they can't see
them if they have knee replacements or just whatever reasons so I'll just say
any seated comfortable position so for some people that might be there some
people that might be there you know sometimes prefer the butterfly posture
so it really does depend on the person as to what kind of position they can get
into so remember we don't really have the same bodies and it's this is not
suitable for everybody like all the yoga postures is going to be some people that
just they cannot get to this position whether it's tight hips or both
structures so we don't want half same kind of ends
FEMA so when they go to the hip sockets you know some people have really big
bones of really small sockets so there's not much mobility there so doesn't
matter how much it stretches do anything that do to the bones they they won't be
able to get their name stuff so we're just divisive around it so this is the
adapt hose
