Thanks @jonahkestyoga for an epic day of blending our two practices
yoga calisthenics collab building strength and finding balance let's get it starting with the muscle up the foundation of calisthenics training pull and push pull something that yoga doesn't really have any of so i was surprised when jonah crushed these next we jumped right into some spinal rolls these really help unlock the neck and shoulders and create a lot of space in the spine adam did a great job as calisthenics generally tightens the shoulders now on to the parallel bars for some russian dips these are tough because it requires some explosive strength but if you can do 10 to 15 dips with the right form you got these next we jumped right into these hip openers these pigeon walks me and adam talked about how strength without flexibility just leaves you with rigidity now that the hips are open let's train some switchblade jumps since yoga is slow and doesn't really use fast twitch muscles it's important to add exercises like these into your routine to become a more well -rounded athlete we finished with some meditation and adam seemed to struggle with this yo i wasn't that bad
