Revolved triangle is part of the standing poses that involve strong concentration, balance, and hamstring flexibility. This short tutorial is part of the "HOW TO" series, where I will be guiding you on what poses you can practice to enter this standing balance posture.
Parivrtta Trikonasana improves balance, and it also strengthens the legs, feet, ankles and abdominal muscles. Because we are coming into quite a deep twist, it also helps to facilitates movement in the abdominal organs, helping digestion. This posture is also great to increase length in the hamstrings, shoulders and upper back.
