Transcript

today i'm going to show you how to do the fire log pose with the help of janine now this is a really intense hip opener so if you have a tough time doing it you can also sit on a rolled up blanket or a pillow so start in a regular cross-legged position on your mat make sure that you're sitting tall with your chest up with your right leg in front of your left now you want to take your right foot and place it on top of your left knee what you're going for here is to have your shins aligned now this should provide enough of a stretch through your hips but if you want to get a little bit of an extra stretch you can walk your hands in front of your knees and lean forward slightly but make sure that you're keeping your back nice and flat you want to hold this for five to ten breaths then sit back up and switch leg positions there you go placing your left foot on top of your right knee and again place you place your hands on the floor lean forward a little bit but always always keep your back nice and flat
